Netanyahu had previously made the following claim: "Those who think the Zionist regime will stop the war have nothing to do with reality. This regime will not stop the war until it achieves all the goals it has set for itself, such as "destroying" Hamas, releasing prisoners, and ending the threat to Gaza." This claim comes to the fore when the former prime minister of the Zionist regime said, "The goal of 'destroying Hamas' in the Gaza war will never be achieved. Benjamin Netanyahu's commitments on this issue are lies and he entered the war for his own future."

In an important message he wrote regarding the successes of the Resistance in the Gaza war, the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip emphasized that the Qassam Brigades carried out unprecedented and intense operations against the enemy and crushed the Israeli army. Yahya Senvar, the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, sent an important and long message to the chairman and members of Hamas's political office about the gains made by the resistance against the occupying regime. Al-Jazeera quoted sources close to Hamas as saying that in this message, Yahya Senvar emphasized that the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, waged a fierce and unprecedented fight against the Israeli occupation forces, and that the enemy army suffered heavy losses, both material and moral. The leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip stated the following in his message: During the ground war with the enemy, the Qassam Brigades targeted at least 5 thousand Zionist soldiers and officers; a third of them were killed, a third seriously injured, and at least a third permanently disabled. In addition, while the Zionist army received heavy damage in terms of equipment and military vehicles, 750 enemy military vehicles were completely destroyed. Yahya Senvar emphasized that the Qassam Brigades crushed the army of the occupation regime, that they will continue on their way to crush this army and that they will never surrender to the conditions of the invaders. In this message, Senvar also praised the steady resistance of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and said: These people are a clear example of sacrifice, heroism, courage, valor and solidarity, and it is the duty of the political leadership of the resistance to quickly heal the wounds of our nation and strengthen its stability.
