According to Al-Mayadeen TV, Mohammad al-Shalaldeh said: “The Zionist regime is obliged to implement the verdict passed by the International Court after the South African lawsuit.” He also called on Arab and Islamic countries to support South Africa's case against the Zionist regime at the International Court of Justice. Al-Shalaldeh added: "The court's decision is binding on Israel and if Tel Aviv does not comply with the court's decision, South Africa must approach the Security Council to enforce the decision." A Palestinian official noted that what the Zionist regime is doing in the Gaza Strip is a war crime and a crime against humanity. In December 2023, South Africa filed a claim at the International Court of Justice for violating the Convention on Genocide in the Occupied Territories against the Zionist regime. About 100 Chilean lawyers also recently filed a complaint with the International Court of Justice against several leaders of the Zionist regime, including the prime minister, for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity. Bolivia's Foreign Ministry also said it views South Africa's actions as a historic step to protect the Palestinian nation, which must be supported and followed by the international community. On November 17, 2023, Bolivia, together with South Africa, Bangladesh, Comoros and Djibouti, submitted a request to the Prosecutor of the International Court of Justice to investigate the situation in Palestine.
