Palestinians report civil disobedience to Israel
Palestinian national and Islamic groups have issued a statement declaring civil disobedience in response to Israel's "crimes". As the Palestinian news agency Shahab reported on Sunday morning, the national and Islamic groups and the youth movement in the Shuafat camp in northeastern occupied Jerusalem declared civil disobedience against the occupying regime and its institutions.
This statement states: This civil disobedience is a response to the crimes committed by the occupation regime's extremist and racist cabinet against the Palestinian nation in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and all Palestinian territories, particularly the retribution, repression, torture, oppression and daily Humiliation of Palestinians at the entrance to the Shuafat camp.
Palestinian groups urged workers not to enter their workplaces in the occupied territories and to refrain from any cooperation with the occupying regime, including carrying out official transactions, paying bills, tolls and local taxes of that regime. Palestinian national and Islamic groups have also called for the road leading to the entrance to Shuafat camp to be closed and people to be prevented from passing through the entrance.
