Azerbaijan Rep. and Armenian foreign ministers started negotiations on the peace agreement in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

According to the news of Anadolu news agency; High-ranking diplomats of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia started negotiations on the peace agreement yesterday in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

In the statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, it was stated that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ceyhun Bayramov and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan entered the Almaty Friendship House.

The statement also stated that the foreign ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, in their speeches, thanked the Kazakh side for laying the groundwork for the negotiations and for the high-level organization of this event and started bilateral negotiations.

Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Murat Norteleo also said: Azerbaijan and Armenia are not only neighboring countries, but also important strategic partners for Astana./
