Pro-Palestine protests continue in Europe despite police repression
For the third day in a row, France is witnessing a large demonstration in support of Palestine and against the genocide carried out by the illegal Israeli regime in Gaza and also the most recent massacre carried out by the Israeli regime in Rafah.
In its latest report on Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that, since October, Israel's illegal regime has killed 36,171 Palestinians and wounded 81,420, most of whom are women and children.
The largest demonstration so far took place in Paris on Wednesday, where thousands gathered in Place Saint-Augustinm, declaring solidarity with Gaza by saying, "Gaza...Paris is with you."
Protesters also raised slogans against French President Emmanuel Macron for his stances in support of the illegal Israeli regime in its genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
French police forces have attacked the peaceful protesters to disperse them, causing violent clashes between the two sides.
In Sweden, police forces used dogs to attack students at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, as they protested Israel's genocide in Gaza.
Additionally, students at the University of Ghent (UGent) in Belgium held a silent protest in support of Palestine and Gaza.
Earlier this month, Ghent University announced that it was severing ties with three Israeli educational institutions due to the regime's crimes.
In England, protesters gathered outside Downing Street, the seat of the British government, to protest Israel's latest war crimes.
The protesters say the British government is an accomplice to the genocide in Gaza, by providing military, financial, and political support to the Zionist regime, a position the protesters argue must be abandoned immediately.
