Dozens of students at the University of Chicago in the United States have left the university protesting the board of directors' decision to deny degrees to students who support Palestine.

According to the University of Chicago Student Union, four students were notified by email in recent days that their certificates will not be issued until a decision on the outcome of a disciplinary process related to complaints stemming from the installation of protest tents on campus is announced.
