Stressing that Moscow is in continuous contact with Iran to find a solution to lower tensions in the region, Vladimir Putin on Thursday following the 16th BRICS summit expressed concern about the escalation of tensions in West Asia and noted that the main reason for the crisis in West Asia is not that Palestine has not become an independent state, according the AP news agency.
He remarked: "Implying Security Council decisions helps to lower tensions in the West Asian area."
Media of the Zionist government said that a high-ranking Russian delegation arrived in the seized areas to explore the prospect of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange between the Zionist government and the Hamas organization.
Presented by Russian President Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist government, the Russian delegation is delivering a message urging a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon.
The visit of the Russian team to the areas under occupation by the Zionist government coincided with the arrival of a Hamas movement mission in Moscow for a conference with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.
