Putin will participate in the delivery of fuel to the Akkuyu nuclear power plant

MOSCOW-Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the fuel delivery ceremony at the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant on April 27 via video link, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced. “The nuclear fuel delivery ceremony at the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant will take place on April 27. Russian President Vladimir Putin will also take part in the ceremony via video link,” Erdogan said in an interview with “TRT”. The Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant is under construction on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. The implementation of the project was awarded to the Russian company Rosatom. In 2018, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin jointly initiated construction of the station at a ceremony in Ankara.
