Quds Battalions Statement on the Details of Operation Revenge of the Liberty

The Quds Battalions, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, praised the resistance forces present during the joint resistance operation, which carried out the joint operation "Revenge of the Freedom Lovers" against the Zionist regime. On May 9, the Israeli army launched a new terrorist operation called "Shield and Arrow" against the Gaza Strip, during which 35 Palestinians were martyred and at least 150 were injured.

On the second day after the start of the Israeli regime's aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Joint Operational Headquarters of the Palestinian resistance groups announced the launch of Operation Ta'ar al-Ahrar (Revenge of the Freedom-loving), in which it launched more than a thousand rockets into the occupied territories. Finally, on Saturday, with the mediation of Egypt and Qatar, at the request of the Zionist regime, a ceasefire was established and peace returned to the Gaza Strip.

According to the Shahab News website, Abu Hamza, a military spokesman for the Quds Battalions, said in a video message on Monday, "The resistance forces did not allow us to confront the Zionist regime alone, and they all did their duty." Abu Hamza added: "For the last 5 days, the fury of the resistance has been directed against the stupid Zionists. Netanyahu wanted to make his basis of victory out of the blood of our martyrs. But the response of the resistance to this delusion was the bombardment of the occupied territories."

Emphasizing the futility of the Zionist regime's policy of terror, the commander of the Quds Battalions said: "We assure the Palestinian people and the supporters of the resistance that the new commanders have taken on the duties of martyred commanders in the best possible way during the war." The representative of the Quds Battalions pointed to the mass rocket attacks by the resistance on Tel Aviv, occupied Quds and Israeli settlements deep in the occupied territories and stressed that this is another round of conflict with the Zionists.
