"The war against Gaza is an opportunity for all fighters to go out on the field and confront the enemy and the Zionist axis," Ziyad Al Nahale said among commanders and heads of Palestinian resistance groups in Syria, AP news agency reported.

"Gaza is a test for all Muslims and the Palestinian people who are struggling with occupation and displacement." The Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement stated that the Palestinian people are fighting in an unprecedented and unique way in the Gaza Strip, and that the enemy is facing an unprecedented resistance.

The Rafah Central Emergency Committee in the southern Gaza Strip reported that nearly 120 Palestinians have been killed and hundreds injured since the beginning of the Israeli military's ground assault on the city of Rafah. According to the committee's statement issued yesterday, the recent overnight operation by the Israeli forces resulted in the deaths of around 30 Palestinian civilians, adding to the total casualties in Rafah during the ongoing land operation.

The committee expressed grave concern over the widespread bombings across the Gaza Strip, forcing thousands of residents to seek refuge in central and western areas, while refugees faced increased danger due to continued airstrikes, particularly in Rafah. Additionally, the closure of the Rafah border crossing has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis, preventing essential aid from reaching citizens in urgent need and jeopardizing the operation of Kuwait Hospital, Rafah's only medical facility, which is struggling to cope with limited resources amid a rising number of casualties.
