Russia ready to help Vietnam build nuclear power plants


Russia is ready to participate in the construction of nuclear power plants of various capacities in Vietnam. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergej Chernjshenko, who is in Hanoi on an official visit, quoted by Nova News. "Russia is ready to participate and help Vietnam if they decide to build nuclear power plants of large and small capacity," said Chernjshenko. The Russian Deputy Prime Minister also stressed that nuclear energy could play an important role in guaranteeing Vietnam's energy sovereignty. "The adoption of this decision will allow Vietnam to get closer to achieving the goal of climate neutrality," Chernjshenko finally observed.
