Sarkozy recognized the cruelty of the European continent

The former President of France called Europe the most violent continent in the world, where the most brutal wars take place.

Nicolas Sarkozy, a member of the French Constitutional Council, said: "We do not live in the Middle Ages, but in the 21st century. It was in Europe that the first massacres took place. It was in Europe that countries fought each other."

He added: "The European continent is cruel, savage and suffering from barbarism. It's stupid that people consider the war in Ukraine a catastrophe, the war in Bosnia must have been forgotten."

The former French president said: "If there is no European Union, there will be more acute conflicts."

Earlier, the Chinese Foreign Ministry published a 12-point proposal to establish peace in Ukraine, which met with a positive response in Moscow and a cold reaction from the United States and the European Union.

A year has passed since the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the countries that support Ukraine, distinguished by their humanitarian gestures, without expressing a desire to mediate for peace, are still trying to prolong this bloody war by sending more weapons.
