According to the official Saudi Arabian News Agency (WAS), Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in a telephone call with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday (3/11/2023) expressed his country's support for the UN General Assembly resolution, which aims to immediately reach a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. Bin Farhan and Wang Yi also spoke about developments in Gaza resulting from the continued escalation of military tensions and the harm caused to defenseless civilians in the region. The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and China discussed the importance of carrying out the responsibility of the international community to stop all military actions, and return to a just and comprehensive peace path for the Palestinian issue in order to achieve international peace and security. In the telephone call, Faisal bin Farhan and Wang Yi discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them in order to realize the interests of their respective countries. Western support for the Zionist regime is a green light and permission for Israel to continue its brutal killing of Palestinians in Gaza, especially Palestinian children and women.
