US Military Base in Iraq Hit by Drone

Drone attacks have occurred again at US military bases in northern Iraq. Several Iraqi media outlets reported that loud explosions were heard from a United States military base in northern Iraq on Saturday morning. The Iraqi Islamic Resistance in a statement today claimed responsibility for this attack, and announced that it targeted the al-Harir base in Iraq with two drones. The Iraqi Islamic Resistance statement stated that the drones sent to the American base hit their intended targets. This operation was carried out hours before, the Iraqi resistance had announced in another statement that the American base at the Kharab Al-Jir military airport, located in northeastern Syria, was the target of a rocket attack. Over the past few days, the Iraqi resistance has repeatedly targeted United States military bases in support of the Palestinian people with drone and rocket attacks. Following the intensification of the war in the occupied Palestinian territories, American bases in various parts of Iraq and Syria have been attacked by Iraqi Islamic resistance forces in recent days, and dozens of American soldiers were injured as a result of these attacks.
