Supporting the UN, many Spanish government officials have called for a suspension of relations with Israel, the imposition of economic and military sanctions, and a trial of Netanyahu and his military cabinet. The latest crime statistics from the Zionist regime in Gaza show that over 7,165 people have been killed and over 82,000 injured in Gaza so far. About 3,000 of Gaza's martyrs are children and more than 1,300 are women. Antonio Guterres stressed in his speech to the Security Council on Tuesday that the recent deadly and horrific attacks on the Gaza Strip cannot justify collective punishment of the Palestinian people. Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen criticized some of Guterres' statements in the Security Council and demanded his resignation.

According to AP news agency, the leader of the Spanish left party Podemos and Minister of Social Affairs Ione Belarra, who has closely followed the events in Palestine over the past 20 days and reacted sharply to the actions of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime Benjamin Netanyahu, once again publishing a video through her account post on virtual network X (formerly Twitter) and called on European governments to take immediate measures, including: suspending diplomatic relations with Israel, imposing economic sanctions, imposing an arms embargo and prosecuting Netanyahu and his military cabinet at the International Criminal Court. Belarra, as head of the left-wing Podemos party, recently demanded that the government end Spain's diplomatic relations with the Israeli regime as an "occupier" regime and impose economic sanctions similar to those imposed at the European level against Russia in connection with the attack in Ukraine.

Irene Montero, Spain's minister of equality, also asked the government to "immediately" take action against the perpetrators of the "genocide" in the Gaza Strip. Until now, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, unlike most European leaders, has avoided traveling to the occupied territories and has repeatedly insisted on the need to declare a humanitarian ceasefire. The people and governments of many countries expressed their disgust at Israel's crimes against the defenseless people of Gaza and appealed to the United Nations to take measures to establish an immediate ceasefire, but with the obstruction of the United States and other supporters of the Zionist regime, no resolution was reached to stop the Israeli attacks.
