According to a report by Qatar's Al Jazeera on October 24, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned that many hospitals will face "catastrophic consequences" in the next 48 hours because emergency fuel cannot be delivered. Videos on social media showed the hospital in darkness, with people moving around using only the light from their mobile phones.
