This has come after the Chairman of the Transitional Council of Sudan, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met yesterday Sunday with the South Sudanese President's Adviser on National Security, Tut Gatluak in Port Sudan, the capital of the Red Sea State of eastern Sudan.

In his statement, Gatuak said, South Sudan is ready to implement the items of the agreement between it and the government of Sudan. In addition, he said: "All the technical teams in these two countries are ready to increase production and ensure that South Sudanese oil reaches the country through Bashayer port in Sudan.

In March this year, the government of Sudan announced the suspension of South Sudanese oil sales through Sudanese areas due to the problems that occurred in the oil transportation routes.
