 The Office of the President of the Republic of Sudan has told Al-Ahdath newspaper that Al-Burhan has not received a call from Griffiths regarding the matter, stressing that all matters related to aid are managed by Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber. The United Nations announced on Wednesday that the two sides in the Sudanese war have agreed to hold a meeting, likely to be held in Switzerland, to discuss the delivery of humanitarian aid to the victims of the war. The Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations responsible for humanitarian affairs Martin Griffiths said that he has contacted Al-Burhan and Hemedti regarding the issue of holding a meeting between the representatives of the two conflicting parties in Sudan to discuss the issue of humanitarian aid. Civil fighting continues in Sudan since April 15, between the armed forces led by Al-Burhan and the Rapid Aid Forces under the leadership of Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.
