According to the official Syrian news agency SANA, an intelligence official in Syria stated that this high-ranking ISIS terrorist leader bears the name Abu Harith al-Iraqi and that he served in key positions in the organization's structure known as "Iraq Province", including responsibility for the immigration department.
According to the report, this person was also responsible for the preparation and planning of a series of terrorist acts and assassinations, including the assassination of Misir al-Juburi (also known as Abu Mariya al-Qahtani), a senior military commander of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.
SANA wrote that the group, whose plan to attack the shrine of Sayyida Zainab (pbuh) in Damascus was previously discovered and foiled, operates under the direct command of Abu Harith al-Iraqi.
