Why is Israel Violating the Ceasefire Agreement in Lebanon?
Pars Today – The Zionist regime claimed to have assassinated one of Hezbollah’s air unit commanders in its attack on southern Lebanon.

The Zionist regime claimed to have assassinated one of Hezbollah’s air unit commanders in its attack on southern Lebanon.
Despite the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Zionist regime, Israel continues to interfere in Lebanon's internal affairs, violate the country's sovereignty and bomb various areas. "Two people were martyred and three others were injured in the attack carried out by the Zionist regime on a vehicle in the town of Cirju'a in Lebanon."
The Zionist regime's war minister, Yisrael Katz, claimed that one of Hezbollah's air unit commanders was targeted in the attack. However, Hezbollah has not responded to this claim so far.
Reacting to the Zionist regime's threat to target an Iranian plane carrying Lebanese citizens on Saturday, Lebanese Parliament Member Ebrahim Mousavi said:
"The Zionist regime's attacks on Lebanon's sovereignty, and especially the US's complicity in these attacks, are increasing Israel's recklessness. Everyone in Lebanon should loudly condemn this situation and force international institutions to take action. A perception that Israel can violate Lebanon's sovereignty whenever it wishes should not be allowed to emerge."
In this context, the Lebanese people held a large-scale protest at the call of Hezbollah, while the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson described Israel's threat to a civilian aircraft carrying Lebanese citizens as a violation of Lebanon's national sovereignty and a threat to international air security.
According to Al-Manar channel, Deputy Chairman of Hezbollah Political Council Mahmoud Qimati made the following statements during the public protest held on Saturday on the road leading to Beirut Airport:
"We will never accept Lebanon coming under the control of the US and Israel. Preventing Iranian planes from landing at Beirut Airport is an insult to the Lebanese government and a clear indication of the US imposing its pressure. We will never accept such policies imposed from outside. Iran is a friend of Lebanon. The people who support the resistance are against the humiliating policies of the US and Israel and will never accept this."
The public outcry over the Iranian planes being blocked from landing at Beirut Airport is still ongoing. Angry Lebanese protested in various parts of Beirut on Thursday night against the intervention of the US and the Zionist regime and blocked the road leading to Beirut International Airport.
