Temporary truce - humiliating defeat for Israel
A former US military intelligence officer has called the temporary ceasefire between the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas and the Israeli regime a humiliating defeat for the regime.

He highlights Hamas' victory in achieving a temporary ceasefire, especially in the context of their goal to release Palestinian prisoners, particularly women and children. The ceasefire, effective on the 49th day of the conflict, involves the release of 50 Israeli prisoners within the next four days, with the condition that for every Israeli captive, three Palestinian women and children must be freed.
