Axios spoke about Netanyahu's pleas to the United States to reach an agreement with Hamas
Axios reported on the Zionist regime's prime minister's efforts to persuade the United States to reach an agreement on a prisoner exchange.
According to the Axios portal, Prime Minister of the Zionist regime Benjamin Netanyahu, recognizing the need to reach an agreement with Hamas, asked US President Joe Biden to once again contact the Emir of Qatar to implement this agreement. Axios reported that Netanyahu grabbed the hand of a Biden administration official who was in charge of investigating the prisoner swap and said, “We need this agreement.” American media claim that the ongoing pressure of the American president on the leaders of some West Asian countries was one of the key factors in concluding a temporary ceasefire agreement. Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid bin Mohammed Al-Ansari on Thursday announced that a temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will begin on Friday at 7:00 a.m. local time. Noting that the first group of prisoners would be exchanged at 16:00 on the same day, he expressed hope that this ceasefire would become permanent. The Axios portal wrote that after the Hamas operation, Biden instructed his senior adviser on West Asian affairs, Jake Sullivan, and another senior adviser, Joshua Geltzer, to form a secret task force to free the “hostages.” Families of the hostages have recently accused Netanyahu of inaction to free them, and for this he has come under severe pressure. Let us recall that since October 7, the Zionist regime subjected the Gaza Strip to heavy bombing. Despite Israel's claims of the complete destruction of Hamas, many analysts, even in the occupied territories, doubt Tel Aviv's ability to achieve this goal.
