The CIA: China ready to invade Taiwan by 2027
The CIA chief claims that Xi Jinping has ordered his army to be ready to invade Taiwan "by 2027". But the Beijing leader is beginning to have doubts about his ability to do so after witnessing Russia's debacle in Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the CIA, William Burns, in an interview with Cbs. "It is not certain that China will invade Taiwan in 2027 or any other year," the head of the agency specified. "Our assessment to date is that Beijing's military leaders and chiefs are not confident that they will be able to carry out the mission."
