The Director General of the WHO notes his concern about the evacuation of patients in Gaza hospitals
The Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the evacuation of patients in hospitals in the Gaza Strip puts the lives of those patients at risk. The Palestine Red Crescent Society has announced that it has received threats from the leaders of the Zionist regime about the possibility of an attack on al Quds hospital in Tel al Hawa in the middle of Gaza. It will be known that more than 400 patients are in al Quds hospital and almost 12,000 citizens have fled to the hospital as a safe area. The Arab News news agency has reported that Dr. Tedros Adhanom, Director General of the WHO, yesterday sent a message on the X social network that: The reports that reached them from the Gaza Strip about the threats of Israel that wants patients to be removed from al Quds hospital are worrying. He added that, we continue to stress that it is impossible to remove those patients who are full of hospitals without endangering their lives. The Director General of the World Health Organization has emphasized that according to international humanitarian law, medical and health care services should be provided in any situation. Before issuing such threats, the Zionist regime bombed the Al Maamamani hospital in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 500 Palestinian martyrs and injuring many others.
