Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that during the talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Antalya, the situation in the Caucasus, the Black Sea region and Syria was discussed. As "RIA Novosti" reports, he said this at the press conference following the diplomatic forum in Antalya. The meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkey and the Russian Federation took place on March 1 in Antalya within the framework of the diplomatic forum. According to Fidan, along with issues of bilateral cooperation, they discussed regional issues, as well as the peace process in the Caucasus (between Armenia and Azerbaijan). According to the head of the foreign political department of Turkey, in addition, the processes related to security issues in the Black Sea, carried out through different channels, were also discussed. Fidan said that an agreement was reached to devote more time to the discussion of the Syrian issue.

Moscow, Paris and Washington tried to put pressure on Baku during the 44-day war. this was announced by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. According to him, during the thirty years of its existence, the co-chair countries of the Minsk Group - France, the USA and Russia - have not taken any steps to "restore justice". "And when we started to liberate the lands, these three countries started putting pressure on us. Each used different tools to force us to abandon the path we were on. They did not want us to "liberate our lands". When we put an end to separatism last September, they made a mistake again. Some of them still continue to make mistakes. I mean the USA and France. I think that Russia now understands well what is happening and accepts the new realities. The US and France should do the same. Otherwise, the situation will not be as they planned. Those countries should work with Azerbaijan, which is the leading country in the South Caucasus with its economy, army and broad international relations," said the President of Azerbaijan.
