The Holy Qur'an continues to be dishonored by the hypocritical politics of the West

  The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United States has spoken about the desecration of the Holy Qur'an outside the Turkish embassy in New York and pointed out that disrespecting the holy books is disgusting. The spokesperson of the US Department of Foreign Affairs says this in a situation where, he has explained that, Washington supports freedom of expression as a basic element of any democracy and is defined in the First Amendment of the US Constitution." This position has been taken in response to the violation honor again the Holy Qur'an. A few days ago, a person desecrated the Holy Qur'an in front of the Turkish Consulate in New York, by throwing down the holy book of Muslims and dishonoring it by stepping on it. Security officers of the Turkish consulate intervened between after this incident and removed the person mentioned from that place.

In recent years, some European countries, especially the Scandinavian region, have been the field of desecration of the sacred things of Muslims. Since the beginning of the summer of this year, the desecration of the Qur'an 'ani Tukufu in the form of burning the Qur'an has happened many times in two northern European countries, namely Sweden and Denmark, and some people who hate Islam, such as Momika Salwan and members of right-wing parties have come forward in public several times and dishonored this holy book. Under the help of the Swedish and Danish police, these people burned the Holy Quran and the Muslim protests were also quelled and suppressed by the police. The disrespect of the Holy Qur'an has faced a wave of great complaints, especially in the Islamic world, leading to large-scale protests in the Islamic world and other countries. In this regard, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) last month asked its member countries to take appropriate political and economic measures against Sweden and other countries that allow the burning of Islamic holy books. In early July 2023, the Human Rights Council of the United Nations condemned the desecration of the Qur'an and passed a resolution proposed by Islamic countries and asked the High Commissioner for Human Rights to investigate this matter and issue a report.

In spite of the existence of a large radio material of Muslims and Islamic countries regarding the issue of the burning of the Qur'an in two northern European countries, namely Sweden and Denmark, and the open opposition of the United Nations against this contemptible and unacceptable act and even the promises of the authorities of these two countries to prevent such actions, but people who hate Islam have continued to disrespect the holy book of the Qur'an with the freedom and complete empire of the security agencies. However, this evil act has taken a wide scope and spread to the United States. Despite the strong radiumals of Muslims, Islamic nations and even the United Nations against Zionist mercenaries like Momika Salwan, whose connection with Tel Aviv is unquestionable, but the Western nations still give permission to people who hate Islam to violate honor Islamic holy places, especially the burning of the Holy Qur'an under the pretext of freedom of expression. The empire and the support of the West for the desecration and burning of the Qur'an takes place in a situation where the United Nations opposes this shameful act.

Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesman of the United Nations says: Miguel Moratinos, Head of the United Nations Organization for Civilization has strongly condemned the burning of the Holy Qur'an in front of a mosque in the center of Stockholm, Sweden. It seems that Westerners are deliberately ignoring the difference between freedom of speech and insulting religious values. If we take a look at the double standards of the Western powers including Sweden and Denmark in relation to freedom of expression, we see that, this matter carries meaning only when it questions and violates the dignity which is the Western view such as hatred against Islam and violating the noble honor of Muslims. But things are quite the opposite in relation to other issues such as the myth of the Holocaust. Another clear example is the war between Ukraine and Russia where those who express opinions and attitudes about the war that are against the views of the Western powers are subjected to pressure from all sides and sometimes face charges as in the case of the Holocaust.
