The Peruvian people support the Palestinian nation
As the Zionist regime continues its bombing of the Gaza Strip and its complete siege of the city, a number of Peruvians have held mass demonstrations to protest the regime's violence against the Palestinians. Protesters in Peru expressed anger over attacks by the Zionist regime, according to AFP. Owardo Ghazman Hussein, one of the Palestinian citizens present at the demonstration, said: “We are descendants of Palestinians, but we had to leave our land due to pressure from the Zionist regime. They kicked us out of our land and the world said nothing and remained silent." Shalivana Shiner, a Palestinian woman present at the demonstration, said: "My son is in the Gaza Strip and I have not heard from him for more than two days. I hope that peace will return to Gaza."
