Abdulbari Atwan, referring to Netanyahu’s meeting with US President Trump in Washington on Tuesday, explained the reason for Trump’s hosting of Netanyahu as the first figure after his new presidency in the full commitment of America in supporting the Zionist regime and expanding it and overcoming all threats against this regime.

He added: Trump has also invited King Abdullah II of Jordan and President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi of Egypt to go to the United States next week, and perhaps the aim is to impose the understandings reached with Netanyahu on these two Arab leaders regarding the relocation of Gaza residents.

Atwan wrote that Trump seeks to put Hamas on two options: leaving Gaza or continuing the war with more intensity from the Zionist regime with the public support of Trump and his government.

Atwan clarified: The discussion of the imminent normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and the occupying regime is not a new issue, and the Saudi authorities have repeatedly made any normalization dependent on the formation of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. So what has changed now that Trump has placed the discussion of normalization at the top of his priorities in the Middle East? It is very difficult to answer this question and the level of resilience of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan against Trump’s demand to relocate the residents of Gaza and to normalize and expand the occupying regime; But Trump is like a raging bull who is blackmailing and killing everyone not only in the Middle East but also in Canada and Greenland.

He continued by referring to the Egyptian army’s attitude and belief that it does not pose a threat to Egypt’s national security; it raised the question of whether El-Sisi would stick to that belief and tell Trump a “big no” during his impending visit to the White House.

This analyst further demanded the support of the Arab nations and countries from Jordan and Egypt against the displacement plan and pressures of America and its blackmail, as well as from Saudi Arabia; if the authorities of Jordan and Egypt decide to oppose normalization and insist on the formation of an independent Palestinian state.

Atwan wrote: Trump is looking for a new Middle East according to Israeli standards. He is looking for a greater Israel under Netanyahu and wants to end his political career with a Nobel Peace Prize. Resisting America and Israel’s plans is a religious and moral duty. We must remember that Israel was defeated in Gaza and America was brought to its knees in Afghanistan and Iraq, and therefore this conspiracy between America and Israel should not go anywhere.

Referring to the lack of living conditions in Gaza due to extensive destruction, he asked Egypt and Jordan to accept and settle the people of Gaza and reduce the problems of this area through the relocation of residents.

Trump also asked the leaders of Egypt and Jordan to cooperate to implement this plan.

However, this proposal was strongly opposed by the neighboring countries.

The officials of these countries emphasized that they are against the permanent displacement of the Palestinian people and their forced migration out of their land.
