This is the first time the 65-year-old leader has been seen in public after he was attacked by a man identified as a soldier, while attending the funeral of religious leader Salimani-Itsandra, last week outside the capital Moronoi .
After not being seen in public this week during the Maulid celebrations, questions arose about the health of the leader who, according to reports, has postponed his visit to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly that begins on September 22 .
