The pressure of the international community on Azerbaijan will gradually increase, and the peace agreement will be signed. Member of Parliament
According to Armen Khachatryan, the vice-chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security Affairs of the National Assembly, there is considerable progress in the negotiation process of the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement, and Azerbaijan has agreed to a number of principles with which it did not agree before.
NA deputy Khachatryan said this in a briefing with journalists. "The worst thing is when the negotiations do not take place at all. Today, there is considerable progress in the negotiation process, Azerbaijan agrees with a number of principles. In the past, there were no such agreements either. A big step has already been taken, he agrees, the international community is able to put some pressure on Azerbaijan. Those pressures are coming to life in a certain sense. In my opinion, this snowball will grow more and more, and the peace treaty will be concluded with the participation of Azerbaijan," Khachatryan noted. According to him, a peace agreement means a guarantee that one does not have any problems with the other that could lead to the use of force. "After signing a peace treaty, what relations will be formed between peoples, what economic issues will begin to be resolved, that is already a secondary issue," concluded Khachatryan.
