The prophecy of Prof. Cacciari on the future of Europe: "We will become a province of the empire"

Where does Europe want to go? This is the question we ask ourselves with ever more insistence after the outbreak of war in Ukraine and after seeing our total flattening to what are pro-Nato and therefore pro-US strategies. In fact, Europe has seen itself become very small in the face of this event, without a strategy and a strong voice to represent our interests. We seem very far from a real political union, but then one wonders where we will go pursuing this arduous road. To understand this, Professor Massimo Cacciari gave an extraordinary lecture at the University of Parma:

"It is not a matter of chatting about justice, but of rights that are embodied in norms, which mean concrete acts of don't talk about rights. Is this possible? What concrete policies are you making in Europe in tax matters, in social matters in order to be the land of progressive democracy? What are you going to do? Or do you intend to continue preaching welfare etc and then not to confront yourself as a valid Europe against the multinationals, the sensational profits they have made in all the last few years practically untaxed. Or, indeed, the only pillar left.
