After the recent crimes and brutal killings against the citizens of the Gaza Strip following the bombardment of Israeli warplanes, the cabinet of the Zionist administration last Wednesday accepted an agreement for a 4-day ceasefire between it and the fighters of the Hamas with the mediation of the governments of Qatar and Egypt which began to be implemented at one in the morning last Friday. According to Al Jazeera, the Red Cross has emphasized the urgent need for humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza and said it has not yet been able to help the residents of the northern part of the Gaza Strip so far. Cindy McCain, Executive Director of the World Food Program (WFD), has warned about Gaza suffering from a famine in parallel with the ongoing war between the Zionist regime and the Hamas group, and wants more aid to be sent to the area. McCain said, the situation in the area is very sad and they have been able to provide aid to approximately 110,000 people since the temporary cessation of hostilities, but more steps should be taken to meet the basic needs of the residents of the area. Following the recent barbaric attacks of the Zionist regime in Gaza, more than 20,000 people have been martyred, 70 percent of them children and women, and approximately 35,000 people have been injured.
