The Secretary General of the United Nations: The Israeli regime's attack on Rafah will be intolerable
The Secretary General of the United Nations warned that the attack of the genocidal Zionist regime on the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, will be intolerable.
According to the AFP news agency, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, in a meeting with Italian President Sergio Mattarella, stated that a ground attack in Rafah will have devastating human consequences and destabilize the region. Guterres on the ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip, said that this is an opportunity that should not be missed. Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Seyed Abbas Kamel, the head of the Egyptian Intelligence Service, discussed Hamas' agreement with Doha and Cairo's proposal for a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip. Haniyeh's political adviser Tahir al-Nunu said Hamas agreed to the proposal, which includes establishing a ceasefire, rebuilding devastated areas, returning Palestinian refugees and releasing prisoners. After Hamas's agreement to the cease-fire plan became public, the Zionist regime attacked Rafah, killing five people, including a child.
