The Washington Times has documents that prove that when Biden was vice president, a Ukrainian company paid him $5 million in bribes. The Republicans, having taken control of the U.S. House of Representatives in 2023, have begun to oppose the White House, and the finances of the Democratic President Joe Biden's family have become their target.This information could determine the course of the 2024 US presidential election.
The Washington Times, citing a U.S. federal police informant, wrote that a director of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma paid Biden a $5 million bribe between 2015 and 2016 to enlist the support of the then U.S. vice president to fire a Ukrainian prosecutor who investigated the company's financial corruption.
Burisma also paid $5 million to Hunter Biden, son of Joe Biden, who at the time served on Burisma's board of directors with a $1 million annual salary. According to the informant, the plan was hidden using several bank accounts. Bank records obtained by Congressional investigators showed that Biden family members and their business associates also received millions of dollars from other countries such as China and Romania.
Meanwhile, former Speaker of the US House of Representatives Newt Gingrich said, citing an FBI informant salary of $200,000, that this indicates that his information is very reliable in this organization, and the Republican-controlled House of Representatives should release documents about Biden's corruption.
Earlier, US House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said US President Joe Biden's family members, including his son Hunter, received millions of dollars from companies based in China and Romania. Joe Biden was Vice President of the United States from 2009 to 2017.
