Trump did not disclose the negative outcome of an investigation into the alleged fraud
WASHINGTON-Donald Trump's 2020 presidential campaign commissioned a research firm to conduct an investigation into alleged mass fraud, but the findings were kept under wraps after researchers found no evidence of widespread wrongdoing. The Washington Post writes it citing four sources familiar with the story cited by bluewin. Berkeley Research Group researchers were paid to study the results in six states trying to identify scams and manipulations to show in public and in court. Areas examined included malfunctioning voting machines, votes from dead people, and any evidence that might help Trump win. The work was carried out in the last weeks of 2020, shortly before the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, and its conclusions were never publicized.
