  Turkey has made the end of the Turkish army's illegal actions in Syria conditional on ensuring security in the north of the country. It should be noted that, in order to prevent the influence of the PKK, Turkey has repeatedly proposed the creation of a 30-kilometer-deep strip along the common border between Syria and Turkey and deemed it necessary for its implementation. Güler announced that there are four million Syrian refugees in Turkey and five million internally displaced people in Idlib and, in line with the creators of the proposal to create this safety strip, stated that Ankara cannot leave this country without ensuring an environment safe in northern Turkey.
