The British authorities are preparing tougher disciplinary requirements for police officers, providing, in particular, the immediate dismissal of a police officer who has committed a gross misconduct or a criminal offense. For several months, the moral corruption of the British police caused a violent reaction in the society of this country. British police officer Wayne Cousins, 48, kidnapped 33-year-old British girl Sarah Everard in London in March 2021. He raped her, and after killing her, set fire to her body and buried her remains. Also after the disclosure of nine complaints against the chief officer of the British police, David Carrick, who was accused of rape, the British government decided to facilitate the process of quick dismissal of corrupt and incompetent officers.

According to The Guardian newspaper, according to recent changes in the disciplinary requirements for police officers in Britain, corrupt officers will be quickly fired. In addition, prerequisites have been prepared for the quick dismissal of officers who do not perform their duties properly. Following an increase in the number of police crimes in Britain, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of this country, Swell Braverman, was forced to announce that British police officers will be fired automatically for gross violations, unless there are exceptional circumstances. British police chief Mark Rowley, who was appointed a few months ago, said during an initial investigation that more than a thousand corrupt police officers who should have been in prisons or detention centers were still working in the police force, but he fired them. He further added: "Of the thousand investigations of police crime cases, about eight hundred involve police officers."
