UN: Israel continues to block humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs announced that the occupiers are still preventing humanitarian aid from reaching the Gaza Strip.

As reported by the Sahab Network, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) stressed on Saturday that the authorities of the occupation Zionist regime continue to restrict the delivery of humanitarian aid to the northern Gaza Strip.

The OCHA office reported in its report that the Israeli authorities have allowed the passage of only 10 of the 21 humanitarian aid convoys planned by the United Nations.

The international organization expressed concern about the impact of fuel cuts on basic services in the Gaza Strip.

The OCHA office warned that the hunger crisis in the Gaza Strip is worsening due to severe food shortages and severe restrictions on access to humanitarian aid, as well as armed looting of this aid (by the Zionists).

Jesse Marks, a senior consultant for West Asia at the International Refugee Organization, estimates that about 80% of the population of the Gaza Strip is deprived of basic humanitarian aid, and stressed that the continuation of military operations will prevent humanitarian convoys from reaching the affected areas.
