US $8.7 Billion Aid to Israel to Continue War
The Zionist regime's Ministry of War has announced that the United States is providing $8.7 billion in financial aid to the regime to continue the war in the region.
According to Al Jazeera, the Zionist regime’s military establishment announced on Monday that the US government and Congress had agreed to provide $8.7 billion in aid to the Israeli regime.
The establishment added that the Zionist regime is seeking $5.2 billion in emergency aid from the US to use to strengthen its air defenses.
The regime’s Ministry of War also noted that the aid will be used to strengthen the Iron Dome, David’s Sling and laser air defense systems.
The Washington Post recently wrote in an article about the significant increase in US military and security aid to the Zionist regime since October 7, 2023, that the regime has received more military aid from the US than any other ally since World War II, with the level of aid sent to Tel Aviv increasing significantly since October 7, 2023.
According to the report, the United States has provided billions of dollars in security and weapons to Tel Aviv since the Israeli regime's aggression against the Gaza Strip began. In addition, the Biden administration has also deployed its military in direct support of its Middle Eastern ally.
As part of Washington's latest support for the Israeli regime, the Pentagon announced the dispatch of a THAAD missile defense system along with 100 personnel to the occupied territories.
According to the Washington Post, despite America's efforts to protect the Israeli regime, Washington has also significantly increased the amount of financial aid sent to Tel Aviv after October 7, 2023.
A top US general, saying Iran, Russia, China and North Korea were putting increasing pressure on US military resources, warned that if conflict broke out in East Asia the US could ill afford another war.
According to AP, the US commander in the Pacific, General Charles Flynn, warned that the US cannot afford another war as the country’s military is under intense pressure.
Speaking at a conference of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), he also called technology sharing and military alliances between America’s adversaries a “very dangerous combination.”
Flynn noted that US adversaries, including Russia, China, Iran and North Korea, are putting increasing pressure on US military resources.
Repeating unsubstantiated claims of Iran’s military assistance to Russia during the war in Ukraine, he said that “Moscow has repaid Iran’s favor and helped it evade sanctions, including by supporting Iranian militias (proxy) groups, including Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Yemen’s Ansarullah.”
According to Insider, Russia in East Asia also recently entered into a military agreement with North Korea and at the same time, despite China's threat to attack Taiwan, participated in extensive military maneuvers with China.
General Flynn added: "There is a limited regional war going on in Europe right now. There is a limited regional war going on in the Middle East. We cannot afford another regional war in Asia because that would be a global problem for all of us."
