US Air Force: We Are Unprepared For The Russian-Chinese Threat
The commander of the United States Air Force acknowledged that this country's forces are not sufficiently prepared to deal with Chinese and Russian threats. Quoted from the Air and Space Forces website, Frank Kendall, Thursday (31/8/2023) acknowledged that the US Air Force, could face a conflict with Russia and China, in the near future. However, he said, the US Air Force, is not as prepared as it should be, and there is still a significant gap in maximal readiness for that. "The threat is already here, so we have to think about whether we have organized ourselves to deal with the threat?
Are we going to train to deal with the threat? Are we ready in terms of structuring most of the responsibilities in the Department of the Air Force and the Aerospace Forces, so that we can face that threat? If tomorrow we are asked to fight against a great power, Russia or China, are we really ready?," he explained. Kendall emphasized, "We are not ready to face the challenges and threats as needed. In my opinion, we need to re-optimize the possibility of great power conflict." The commander of the United States Air Force believes that weapons alone will not be enough to face the challenges and threats from China and Russia. (HS)
