US Congress to Reject New Military Aid to Ukraine
The US Congress is unlikely to approve a new military aid budget to Ukraine until later this year.
US President Joe Biden's request to approve an emergency budget of 106 billion dollars to address Washington's top foreign policy priorities, namely Ukraine, Israel and the Indo-Pacific, is still pending in the US Congress building. A source close to the US Congress announced that it is unlikely that the US House of Representatives will approve a new budget to help Ukraine before the end of the year. Last week, Shalanda Young, White House Budget Director warned in a letter to US Congressional leaders about the end of US resources and funds to help Ukraine at the end of this year.
