A US military officer announced his resignation yesterday, citing objections to Washington's backing of Israel's war and genocide against Gaza.
Harrison Mann, an officer in the Defense Intelligence Agency, stated in his resignation letter that the unconditional support of the United States for Israel has resulted in the deaths and starvation of tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Major Harrison Mann asserted that Washington's bipartisan support for the Zionist regime has also emboldened it to continue its killings and war against Gaza.
Last month, Hala Rharrit, Spokesperson for the US Department of State's Bureau of Near Eastern and North African Affairs, resigned citing objections to the policies of President Joe Biden's administration regarding Gaza.
This comes as Washington's escalating military aid to Israel in its bid to extricate itself from the quagmire of the seven-month-long Gaza conflict, which has brought no success to Tel Aviv, has faced strong criticism from the public opinion within the United States itself.
