USA recognizes role of Hamas in Middle East conflict

The United States National Security Advisor, Jack Sullivan, has emphasized the important role of the Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas in the region. Sullivan explained that Hamas is currently the most important player in negotiating a possible ceasefire with Israel. The movement also plays a central role in the exchange of hostages.

According to reports, around 250 hostages of the Zionist regime are being held by Palestinian fighters in the Gaza Strip.
