USA, the death of 207 homeless in Oregon
According to Pamplin Media Group, the homelessness crisis is more than a problem in Portland, Oregon, and addressing it requires more than a solution. According to this report, 207 homeless people died in the first six months of the year in Oregon, of which 73 belong to Multnomah County. The most recent research shows that only 35% of the homeless live in Multnomah and the rest are scattered throughout the state of Oregon.
31 of the homeless dead are from Linn County, 23 from Polk County, 11 from Jefferson County, 19 from Jackson and five from Clackamas. According to this report, if the homeless death rate continues, the homeless death rate in Multnomah will sadly be surpassed. In 2020, 126 homeless people died. Last year's report has also been published and this amount will increase dramatically again this year.
