Victory amidst Sacrifice: Palestinians Prevail as Global Consciousness Rallies Behind Them

A mere two weeks have passed since the launch of the ongoing asymmetrical Operation Al-Aqsa Storm and the heinous war crimes perpetrated by the Israeli regime against Palestinian civilians, and we bear witness to a resounding awakening across the world, as many galvanized by a shared sense of justice have emerged from their slumber to pledge unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. Today, full-scale aggression rages unabated against the besieged Gaza Strip as the Zionist forces relentlessly commit appalling crimes against 2.2 million civilians. With an atmosphere fraught with terror, the Zionist regime kills women, children, and elderly Palestinians, leaving no stone unturned in their barbarism. The Palestinian people, however, rise in defiance, their resilience honed over countless generations, steadfast in the conviction that only through resistance can they reclaim their inalienable rights from the clutches of the Zionist occupation. 

Simultaneously, the international community, witnessing the ever-escalating brutality and egregiousness of crimes by the Israeli regime, increasingly deems it bereft of legitimacy. During these harrowing days, hundreds of innocent civilians, including women and children, have tragically perished. However, their martyrdom has not been in vain, as it has ignited a global awakening, compelling many to join their cause. Prior to this steadfast resistance front, the world was gradually being enlightened about the egregious crimes committed by the Zionist regime, amounting to war crimes and crimes against humanity. Now, many people hailing from diverse nationalities, speaking different languages, and adhering to various religions and cultures have come to recognize the Israeli genocide, standing in solidarity with the Palestinian nation.

Across the world, numerous countries have become the stage for massive rallies in unequivocal support of the Palestinian people. What was once primarily a phenomenon of Muslim countries has now expanded to include various American and European nations, including Germany, the UK, and France. These nations now bear witness to a groundswell of people taking to the streets, resolutely expressing their support for Palestine while condemning the inhumane policies of the Israeli regime. Even within the United States, a country long known for its unwavering support of the Israeli regime, public sentiment is shifting. Demonstrations in solidarity with Palestine are now a daily occurrence in different US cities. President Biden, in an attempt to galvanize support for both the Israeli and Ukrainian regimes, has addressed the American people and disseminated his message through social media channels. However, the response from the American public was nothing short of intriguing. Many express regret for having voted for him, likening his stance to that of his predecessor, Donald Trump.

They demand answers, questioning how he can defend such disgraceful carnage in Palestine. The evolving public sentiment across nations has undeniably shaped the approach of political leaders and has had a profound impact on diplomatic relations. Among the visible consequences of this shifting landscape, five Israeli embassies located in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Bahrain, and Turkmenistan have undertaken the evacuation of their personnel. Additionally, 20 other Israeli embassies across Europe and South America have either suspended operations or partially ceased their activities. These developments serve as a testament to the fact that in this emerging world order, it is the nations themselves that wield the power to reshape geopolitical dynamics, rather than governments alone. Another salient observation arising from the ongoing conflict between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli regime is the remarkable unity that has emerged within the resistance movement across West Asia.

Diverging from previous instances of conflict, such as the 22-day, 51-day, and 8-day wars between Gaza-based resistance groups and the Zionist regime, the current scenario has witnessed the active involvement and staunch solidarity of all members within the Axis of Resistance. This collective front has unambiguously conveyed the resounding message to the Zionist regime that the Iran-led Axis of Resistance stands as an indivisible entity. Presently, the military infrastructure of the Axis of Resistance is primed, its forces are fully equipped, and provisions have been made for those volunteers who seek to lend military support to Palestine. Caravans from Iraq have journeyed to the Jordanian border, establishing tents to welcome them and providing free food and a place for rest for those who choose to traverse this route in their pursuit of supporting the Palestine resistance. In recent days, with the chant "By soul, by blood, we'll defend you, oh al-Aqsa!” resonating across numerous Arab and Islamic capitals, another fervent slogan has emerged, capturing the attention of observers: "O’ Beloved Nasrallah, Target Tel Aviv."

The continuation of the abhorrent cycle of genocide against Palestinians appears all but certain. However, the Al-Aqsa Storm onslaught has rendered the Zionists increasingly vulnerable and unstable. Palestinians have endured immense sacrifices throughout their struggle, from the first and second intifadas of Al-Aqsa Mosque to the Battle of Karameh, the Sword of al-Quds, and presently, Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. Each chapter in their history has served as a significant stride towards ultimate victory. Recognizing that triumph does not come without a price, even if the Zionist regime were to reduce Gaza to rubble, the Palestinians would still emerge triumphant on the battlefield. This undoubtedly stems from the unprecedented global consciousness and unity that have rallied behind their cause. Gazans have not only garnered support but have also galvanized the world’s public opinion, underscoring a resounding victory in itself.
