We always stand by Turkey because we are one nation
We are always on Turkey's side, because we are one nation, two states.
"All this has entered the annals of our brotherhood forever, as another manifestation of indestructible Azerbaijani-Turkish unity and solidarity. Just as Turkey stands by Azerbaijan in good and bad days, we will always stand by Turkey. Because we are one nation, two states." This is stated in Ilham Aliyev's letter to the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in connection with the anniversary of the earthquake that occurred in February of last year.
Pashinyan's willingness to change the RA constitution increased Ilham Aliyev's expectations from Yerevan. According to "Yeni Musavat", during the meeting with the General Secretary of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Martin Chengon, Ilham Aliyev proposed a new condition for the establishment of peace with Armenia and demanded to change the Declaration of Independence and the RA Constitution, as these strategic documents contain provisions that contain territorial claim to Nagorno Karabakh. Aliyev said that the establishment of peace between the two countries is not possible with the existing Constitution of the Republic of Armenia. He positively assessed Armenia's willingness to change the main law of the country. Meanwhile, the Baku media, referring to Russian analysts, write that by changing the Constitution, the 48-year-old Pashinyan is trying to implement the conditions of Baku and Ankara and create a basis for remaining in power for the next 30 years.
