White House: We will not apologize for the atomic bombing of Japan

The White House national security adviser said Washington would not apologize for the 1945 atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan.Jake Sullivan made it clear on Wednesday that US President Joe Biden would not apologize to Tokyo for bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki during his trip to Japan to attend the G7 meeting.The White House national security adviser emphasized that Biden would not make statements at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park about the US atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Three days later, America dropped a second atomic bomb on the city of Nagasaki, killing another 70,000 people.The atomic bomb that exploded in Hiroshima was equivalent to 15,000 tons of TNT, and the temperature of the earth at the time of the explosion reached 4,000 degrees.The survivors of the atomic bombings of these two cities often faced thyroid, breast, and other cancers.
