Three days later, America dropped a second atomic bomb on the city of Nagasaki, killing another 70,000 people. The atomic bomb that exploded in Hiroshima was equivalent to 15,000 tons of TNT, and the temperature of the earth at the time of the explosion reached 4,000 degrees. The survivors of the atomic bombings of these two cities often faced thyroid, breast, and other cancers.
