WHO official: We are witnessing a terrible bloodshed in Gaza
The coordinator of the emergency medical teams at the World Health Organization, Sean Casey, who participated in the humanitarian operation in the center of Gaza, said that blood is spread everywhere in the area's hospitals and that what he saw there were rivers of blood and human butchery, stressing that there is no safe place in that area.
Casey said in an interview with the "United Nations News" website, after his visit to Al-Aqsa Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah in the center of the Gaza Strip, last Monday, that: "It is a bloodbath, as we said before . It is a murder and a very bad incident." He has said that he also saw this in the Al-Shifa Hospital in the north, and also in the two biggest hospitals in the south of Gaza, which are the Gaza European Hospital and the Nasser Medical Complex. He added that "there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip." Sean Casey has said that almost all health services have stopped, either because of damaged equipment, or because workers have been forced to flee, or because medicine has run out and so on. Gaza The United Nations official emphasized that patients in Al-Ahly and Al-Shifa hospitals are waiting to die and said that many patients who should be in the intensive care units are sleeping in queues. More than 20 thousand Palestinians have been killed, most of them children and women, in Israeli attacks against the people of the Gaza Strip.
