WHO: The situation of children in the Gaza Strip is dire

The Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned about the dire situation of Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip following the continued attacks of the Zionist regime of Israel.

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) has written a message on the "X" social network that four children were injured in an Israeli airstrike against a health center in the Gaza Strip.

Adhanom Ghebreyesus added that the attack against a health center in the Gaza Strip took place in an area where a "ceasefire was reached to continue providing vaccines."

At the same time, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has also warned that the Israeli government's decision to ban the United Nations Refugee Agency, UNRWA may cause more children to die, which is a form of collective punishment for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

As the days go by, the security and humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip continues to deteriorate, while civilians and even aid workers remain in dire straits.

The World Food Program (WFP) has announced that it cannot be used as a substitute for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA) in Gaza.

The head of the WFP office in Berlin, Martin Frick, said this when he spoke to the German media .

Frick said, UNRWA is the backbone of the provision of food aid, protection and treatment to the people of the Gaza Strip who are facing bad conditions due to the war .

Recently, the illegal regime of Israel announced the ban of the United Nations organization and said that Israel itself will take that responsibility along with other organizations in coordinating and distributing aid in the Gaza Strip .

WFP has said that banning UNRWA will further endanger the lives of people who are currently trying to survive using their last resources .

At the same time, as the days go by, the security and humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip continues to deteriorate while civilians and even aid workers remain stunned as the attacks from Israel continue every day.
