Why the international community has failed to stop the Israeli genocide in Gaza
The inability of the international community to stop the genocide of the Zionist regime of Israel in the Gaza Strip has been severely criticized internationally.
The genocide carried out by the Zionist regime of Israel against the people of Gaza has entered the seventh month. To date, more than 33,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 75,000 have been injured in the crime.
Ayatullah Ali Sistani, the main religious leader in Iraq has expressed his regrets about the failure of the world to stop the crimes and attacks that continue to be carried out by the Zionist regime against the people of the Gaza Strip.
Ahmed El-Tayeb, the Sheikh of Al-Azhar has also criticized the international community for not caring about the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people and declared that: "What we are witnessing in Gaza proves that our current world has lost the leadership of wisdom and wisdom, and this it is leading the world into an abyss the likes of which history has never seen."
The Sheikh of Al-Azhar has pointed out the meaningless resolutions issued by the United Nations Security Council to stop the Israeli attacks and occupation against Gaza and the non-implementation of any international decisions related to this issue, stressing that the international institutions are paralyzed and stagnated after their decisions were canceled by the open intervention of one oppressive and authoritarian side.
The important question that arises is that, why has the international community failed to stop the genocide carried out by Israel in Palestine?
It seems that the most important answer to this question is the abuse of the US veto right in the UN Security Council. In the past six months, the United States has stood shoulder to shoulder with the Zionist regime and Israel, and apart from military and economic aid, it has prevented the adoption of any kind of resolution condemning the crimes committed by that regime in Palestine. The wrong use of the veto by the United States has proven once again that the right has become a political tool that prevents the achievement of justice and justice in the world system.
Another important thing is that, the resolutions of the UN Security Council also lack the guarantee of its implementation. Just for example, the UN Security Council recently passed a resolution, boycotted by the United States, of the necessity of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the sending of humanitarian aid to the area; but the Israeli cabinet officially announced that it will ignore the resolution and will not implement it. Therefore, it can be said that the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council will not have a guarantee of implementation as long as the Western countries, especially the United States, do not want it.
Another important reason why the international community is unable to stop the Israeli genocide in Gaza is the behavior of Muslim countries. Because, despite the ongoing genocide in Gaza, it is sad that the Islamic countries have failed to have a united position to confront the Zionist regime and defend Palestine. Some important Islamic countries have remained silent and some others did not even want to question the ambassador of the Zionist regime in those countries.
In such a situation, the Zionist regime has come to the conclusion that it is possible to continue the genocide in Gaza. There is no doubt that, if there is unity between the Islamic countries in protecting and defending Palestine, then the Zionist regime of Israel will not be able to continue the genocide.
